(i) Vice-Chancellor - Chairman;
(ii) Dean of the Faculty Council concerned;
(iii) Head or Heads of the Department or Departments concerned, if any;
(iv) Professor or Professors of the Department or Departments concerned, if any;
(v) Five teachers of the University, other than Professors belonging to the Faculty Councils concerned, to be elected by such teachers from amongst themselves;
(vi) Not more than three persons having special knowledge in the subject or subjects concerned nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from a panel of six persons recommended by the Governing Board
(vii) The concerned Faculty Council may co-opt such Dean or Deans from any other faculty Council as it may consider necessary.
Each Faculty Council for Post-graduate and Undergraduate Studies shall have a Secretary. The Secretary shall be a member of the Faculty Council: Provided that in the absence of the Secretary, the Registrar or a Deputy Registrar or an Assistant Registrar, as may be nominated by her, shall act as the Secretary of the Faculty Council.
